Any good known motherboards with many slots?

Do you guys know websites. Where I could buy specific motherboards? With 4 CPU sockets and more than 4 RAM sockets?

And completely separated question. Is there non-professional way to build own powerful computer? Let's say I will fill all slots with best equipment and I still want more power. What then?
