Alright well I recently built a PC, exactly 1 week ago. It has been running perfectly fine for the past wek until today... Today it just shut off, then turned back on then after 30 min turned off. I was monitering my CPU temp nd it was idling at about 50 C, prior to its 30 C. After leaving it off for about 2 hours I rebooted and it was running fine at 30 C then launched a game and 3 min in shut off. After I rebooted it was again idling at 50 C. In one week I am ordering a new heat sync I am currently using the stock heat sync. I do not know if it is just the Heat sync is no longer (Somehow) unseated from it's original position but if that is the case then why has it been working for the past week and waited until now to "mess up". If anyone has the answer potential answers anything that can stop the crashes for at least 2 weeks, please help!

My setup is:
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
CPU: AMD FX 8320 Vishera
GPU: R9 270X
PSU: Corsair CX 750W
RAM: G.Skillz Rip Jaws 8GB
HDD: 1 TB, also a 222GB boot drive

Solution
I had a problem where as I was cleaning my case and the back of my hand hit the Heatsink. I thought nothing of it until my PC started crashing 5 minutes in to playing games. It appears that I knocked the heatsink into an odd position and it placed too much pressure on the CPU memory controller. This resulted in memory error codes on the blue screens I was getting. My CPU got stuck in the socket and I could not get the socket arm to release. I had to work it back and forth for a few minutes before it would release with reasonable pressure.

I reseated the heatsink again and that worked for a few months. At that point I felt that the heatsink was too big and heavy. So I got a Corsair H60 cooler. This was great. 1.) it was...

So far so good.
