Just recently, I've begin getting into PC gaming. One game I really want to play is ARMA 3. I've downloaded it but can't enjoy it when I'm playing at 15fps. Here are my specs on my PC they are:

  • AMD FX-4300 Quad Core Processor 3.8GHz (4MB Cache)
    8 GB DDR3 RAM
    NVIDIA GT610
    500 Watt PSU
    1024GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Now, I know that the NVIDIA GT610 is not desigined for gaming, the GTX series are. I am on a budget at the moment so after doing some research I am considering buying the GTX 650 or the GTX 750. The reason why is because like I said earlier I'm on a budget and yes I know when it comes to PC gaming it gets expensive, fast. another question is if I get the 750 will it run with my current set up as it is, thanks.

The 750 in most cases outperforms the 650. I also does so using less power. In fact most 750's don't even have an external power connector. I've seen one or two that require the external connector, but that's because the manufacturer markets it for overclocking and thus it needs more power than the PCI-e slot can provide.

The 750 will be night and day better than what you have. However don't expect miracles, ARMA 3 is a beast, so don't expect to play 1080p with all the highest detail settings. You should be able to play 1080p with modest settings though.

As for it working with your current setup, it should be no problem. Mainly because this card doesn't require a lot of power so you won't have to upgrade your power supply.

Alright, appreciate it and I really don't mind playing 1080p on medium if I have too. I was playing everything on low a few hours ago, with a few things disabled.
