Looking for a good monitor/Questions

I am looking for a good 23-24" monitor for my new build. I will be using it for gaming(not super competitive), music editing, and other general use. My price range is $130-160.

Is this a good choice? Have any recommendations? One thing I am unsure about is that my GFX card (GTX 750 Ti FTW) has Displayport, DVI, and HDMI. HDMI monitors are cheaper than ones with Displayport, but would it be worth it to shell out the extra money, or will HDMI/DVI work perfectly fine?

Dell is also great too, I've had my U2311H for 5 years and have had 0 problems or dimming. Of course I paid a good penny for it when it came out haha.

Seems to be a pretty good deal, but I haven't completely made up my mind yet..

Yea I was looking at the 1920x1200 but I was concerned with the strain on my eyes because I'm a hardcore gamer when I'm off work for a few weeks at a time.

The one you found looks good though.
