CPU: Intel Core i3-4130

Motherboard: ASRock H81M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150
-
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB

Case: Silverstone SST-SG05B-USB3.0 (Black) Mini ITX Desktop w/300W Power Supply

Intrigued by the new GTX 750 Ti, I've decided to try to build a small form factor gaming PC.

Nvidia had an article posted recently that went over a few parts. I've changed a couple, but haven't strayed too far.

Any alternate recommendations? I haven't picked a hard drive just yet, either (gonna go with an SSD)

@TheGreatDew, It should work perfectly fine with Titanfall, and it will get good results from Ultra/High settings on BF4.
Titanfall worked fine on the highest settings at 1080p for me during the beta and my setup is nearly the same as the proposed setup (just with a FTW version card, Gygabite H81M-S2PV mobo and 8gb Avexir Core orange RAM)

budget ?

i think it is better to buy separate case + PSU
better ram CL8 low latency, cheaper
i put 120Gb ssd + 1TB hdd

I agree with AMD. However, the 750Ti is a very capable card. I bought the EVGA 750Ti (ACX FTW version) as it was an extra £15, but had the factory OC and much improved double cooler.. I would definitely recommend it. It's idling at 19* and when gaming on BF4 on Ultra settings (1080p) it only reaches 35*! Very happy customer, will be looking EVGA's way next time I need an upgrade!

Cool thanks for the info. Right now I am considering maybe going with a R7 260x and trying to use mantel for bf4 the dual core worries me as well. might upgrade it to a quad i5

The 750Ti can OC beyond that of a R260x, maybe get a 270x instead if you want to go AMD? And I only went for an i3 because i'm just sitting in wait for Skylake CPU's by Intel! I'll then be (most likely) rebuilding my rig with a new Mobo, DDR4 RAM and a Skylake CPU (Probably an i5 k series)
The i3 doesn't seem to throttle or bottleneck the 750Ti, so it seems like a great combo for me.. But if you're thinking of staying with socket 1150, you could upgrade your graphics card later on and have a really powerful gaming pc!

Thanks again for the info Impatienc3. I've actually really considered an r9 270 non X and then OC it as its the same price as the 750 ti right now (Actually cheaper) I just posted up a proposed build, one I can hopefully do. This rig isn't my main setup I'm using a i7 920 OCed to 4.0 at home with a r9 280x this rig is to replace my laptop that literally never moves from work haha. I game for about 2 hours a day on it sometimes longer. My Laptop now just cant do BF4 and Titanfall, It lags and Im PRETTY sure its due to the 5870 video card in it, but then again it has a 2.5 ghz Dual core so instead of dropping 2,000 on a new laptop this setup made more sense and I was really just looking to get that i5 quad for the sake of utilizing mantle. I'm researching like a mad man to see what I really want to end up with.

Woah.. And there's me happy with that as my full (mATX so I can take it to Uni halls, tiny rooms!) rig.. I'm doing the same as you with the research, but for a mITX AM1 streaming HTPC! On a budget of £175 for a scratch build.. It'll be interesting!
But best of luck with your WORK gaming setup?! (How do you get to game at work..? Lol)

Good luck to you too my friend! And as for me being able to game at work...the 2 hours that I get to play for sure every day I am off the clock so its fine no one gets upset not that they even know what I am doing. Anything else "I don't know what youre talking about " ;)

No, it probably won't run from a 150w PSU.. It could possibly run from a 220w PSU, but it depends on the variant of GPU (the higher end ones of the 750 have a 6-pin power socket, so can use more than 75w for the card..)

i3 = 54w
750Ti = 75w(or above)
Then the power for the mobo, HDD, disc drive, fans etc on top of that.. And considering the CPU and GPU combines to roughly 130w, that doesn't leave much headroom!

I usually leave a 50w-ish headroom, but if you get one of the 750Ti's which doesn't have an extra power socket and one of the lower powered i3's, then it'd be able to run on a 150w PSU! But if you're wanting to do gaming, you'd find out that it may be limited by the low powered i3.. Not too certain on that though.
