Hi, I was wondering which one you guys think would be a better buy for me. Both cards are priced relatively the same where I am (ph) and I am currently leaning toward the 650 ti Boost.

Thanks!

Solution
You can actually get a 660 for the same money as a 650 ti boost depending on where you are.

I've been looking as well because I want a lower end card for another PC. Unfortunately 650 ti boosts are now hard to find, there are 2 or 3 on ebay with the best being the Sparkle 650 ti boost @ £118-126. The best 750 ti is an EVGA one (fastest clocked one) at £130 and I decided to just buy an EVGA 660 FTW sig for £136.

The Ti boosts though are supposed to be in the sweet spot for various gaming points, so the 660 should be as well.

But yeah, as previous answers say, non SLi the 750 ti isn't quite as powerful core wise as the 650 ti boost but the 650, 650 ti, 650 ti boost and 660 all require a 6 pin connector whereas the 750 ti runs off of...

I'd go for the slightly more power hungry card. You can always sell it at a small loss next year when the higher end Maxwell chips start coming out.

I'm waiting for the 880 upward cards.

660 is markedly better than the 650 ti-b. It'd serve you well.

Here are the current prices for the card where I am at (PH): 750ti - PhP 7000, 650ti Boost - PhP 7350, 660 - PhP 8700

As you can see, there is really not a lot of price difference between the 750ti and the 650ti Boost here and both are in stock. Funny enough, it is actually harder to find a 660 at local stores than a 650ti Boost.

Anyway, what I plan to do now is to buy a 660 if I could find one at a good price, and if I can't, buy a 750ti for the power savings. (Power rates just spiked really hard where I am at, and the lower consumption can probably pay off as another upgrade later). Thanks for all your help!

Hi!

Can I just ask where you got those prices for the gpus? I mean the 660 is mighty expensive here in the philippines and mostly where Ive looked the price for the 660 is above 10k+. Can I just ask where you got those prices? I just want the gpu to be worth the money. THANKS! :D

depends greatly where you live, where you live, expect greater prices. If it is much more expensive it just isn't worth it.

I just recently got 2 MSI-650 Ti boost from ebay-1-for $80.00 another for $100.00-I got lucky.
Still pretty decent card-it has 192-bit memory the 750-Ti just 128bit and doesn't support SLI in
which right now why doesn't the smaller end 700's cards don't have SLI-well to buy the 760 and
up vid-cards that's why.750 Ti-only has like 550 pixel shadres-above average vid card for med-gamming web surfing that be better get a 640gt or 650gtx-most cards are rebranded
some are not.....

650 ti has 740 pixel shaders while 660 is 990 so 660 is better slightly and some MSI's for $159.00/
evga's slightly more-I'd choose MSI one with twin frozen heat sink/fan cooling.

I couldn't pass upgot both my PC rigs for half price then full...... 2 MSI-650 TI boost's for the price for my 2nd gaming rig-gotta love ebay I've pretty much got both my PC rigs
for half price then full......

1st gaming rig 2-MSI-660 Ti's-decent cards but I'd like 2-MSI's either 780-Ti's 3gb or 780 GTX 6gb-but there expensive-but 2-MSI-760 GTX 4 GB would be good too......
