Can I run BF4 with an i3 4130

Solution
Thing is, there's a general misconception that i3s are weak for gaming since they are dual cores

The i3-4130 is a very powerful hyperthreaded dual core that performs on par with AMD's quad cores so it'd be fine for gaming

Pair it up with a good gaming GPU and you're set (you said you had a 270x, so you should have no problem with BF4)

Since you're probably still deciding on CPU, the FX-6300 would be a better choice for BF4

The R9 270X it's a really good card for gaming. AMD just release an update called "Mantle" that raises the performance of the AMD GPU's by 20%+, specially the R9 cards. If Mantle likes your PC, expect major FPS playing at ultra settings.

Yes and will only get even better as mantle matures, the idea of mantle is you can pair a high end amd card with low end cpu and still get a good experience/fps
