Blue Screening and Application Errors.

Hi, I built my first computer yesterday and I'm having some teething problems. It took me 5 hours to install windows as it kept crashing and blue screening. it eventually managed to install it but now it blue screens very often and gives me Application Errors all the time. It wont allow me to use Windows Explorer or open any programs. It also can't connect to the internet even though the Ethernet Controller is up to date. The technical information at the bottom of the most recent Blue Screen said...

If you re install windows try removing your graphics card and all but one stick of ram to eliminate as many variables as possible. If it still does the same thing change to another stick of ram just to be sure. It would also be nice if you listed the specs.

Because more than likely you just installed windows.
But you never installed and ran the chip set drivers provided on the Mobo dvd.
For the Sata chip set used on the mobo.

Ataport.sys is linked to the Sata driver chipset of the board.
There is no I/O or incorrect function due to a lack of the driver.
Install the chip set drivers for the board.
