The timings should be on a little sticker on the box of the ram, or on the sticks themselves. Also the advertised timings and speed only work with the adverted voltages. If you are able to RMA the blues for sticks that run at 1.5v that might solve all your problems.

As long as all 4 slots are populated then yes it will. I would personally do 1 color per channel(slots 1/3 blue, 2/4 black) but thats not necessary. Most motherboards channels are setup staggered, meaning that channel one is slots 1 and slot 3, and channel 2 is slots 2 and slots 4, so you should always populate accordingly. If you're populating all slots(max of 2) as in your case than you dont have to worry about that.

i only have 2 slots for ram, btw i tested it already the bios detected both ram but when i checked my windows task manager the usable memory is only 4gb single channel.

Are you running a 64bit OS? And have you tried running them separately one by one to see if both work alone?

Have you tested both sticks to make sure they are working separately? If you bought the same tier of sticks, there should be no difference between them other than the color.

i have tested them individually, and they work but sometimes when i remove them and place them back i have a trouble starting up my pc, sometimes it takes alot of swapping of the sticks to make the pc start up again, but when it successfully starts up you will not have the trouble of shutting it down and starting it up again unless you move the sticks.

yes, but like i said theres sometimes the trouble of starting up the pc when i remove them and place them back it takes alot of swapping like stick A is in slot 1, stick B is in slot 2 and it wont work then ill swap them and it wont work, then ill swap them again to their original places then it will work, in short it randomly works, i always make sure that the dimm is properly placed, and yes sometimes it only reads 4gb.

Only other thing I can think of is that you're running 1.65v ram in a 1.5v slot. Which may cause instability, are you downvolting the ram as well? or do you have the option to do so?

well, that maybe the solution, ive never raised the volt before, its 1.5 in the bios but the sticker on the back of the stick says 1.65 should i raise the voltage in the bios?
