Changed cpu cooling unit. System now will not go past motherboard screen. Del &tab do not function. Did the battery/jumper to clear bios, but changed nothing. Suggestions?

Solution
Check the CPU cooler is mounted properly - in case CPU is getting too hot and system is freezing during POST checks.

If not that, would advise taking the board out of the case, using bare minimum components and seeing if you get any further than the MB POST screen.

Then when installing the new Psu.
You forgot to reconnect the four or eight pin 12v from the Psu to the mother board
The power block on the board is located near or around the cpu socket.

Atx 24 pin to Atx block of mother board + 12v eight or four pin to mother board located near socket from Psu.

Have you not got the original cooling unit? Are the connectors the same? If it was fine before this change then the change is the problem. If it was the PSU you mean then do as has been suggested and that is the 4 wire (black and yellow's) 12v connector to the mainboard is not connected.

Left mother board in case, disconnected both hard drives and both dvd drives. Problem went away. Fixed cmos, reinstalled all drives, system working. THANKS
