Just picked up the new Asus Formula VI MB tried installing my old GPU I was using hours prior, and motherboard doesn't detect GPU. I've researched for a couple of days trying to figure it out, but no luck. All other PC functions work. The fans and LED's on the GPU spin and light up just no picture. Like i said everything runs perfect just no GPU and I cant play games i want on IGPU. Maybe the GPU is bad?

Things I've tried: (not in any order)
Rebuild everything with bare essentials.
BIOS update.
Updated all drivers I could except GPU because it wont let me.
Re-checked all connections.
Checked compatibility.
Disabling IGPU.
Bios set up to PCIE.
CMOS.
Tried all PCI slots

Solution
If the system with the 580 card in it hangs or does not boot into windows.
Double check the Atx 24 pin is seated right and you have connected both the four and eight pin blocks to the motherboard from the Psu.

The blocks are located at the top edge of the board.
Its a Tri SLI board so 3. sets of four pin blocks.
Four pins for each, 4+8 Pci-slot to provide 75w to each Pci-e slot from the board. x3

Top right edge...
