So basically, i got a Diamond Radeon 7750 for single monitor use. I didnt know it was mean for dual or triple monitor so, i ran into some problems. I dont have DVI on my monitor which DVI and DisplayPort are the only outputs on the graphics card. So, i had to use the dual monitor DVI cable that came with it, connect that , and then use the VGA to DVi adapter that also came with it, and then connect that to my VGA chord connecting to my monitor. But, it seems there no signal when on the monitor. I've also tried to using a mini display port to VGA adapter and got no luck.
Some other stuff i tried is re seating the ram, and the video card. Btw, im pretty sure the GPU is not DOA cause the fans are spinning.. But please any help?

Solution
Just because the fans are spinning does not mean the GPU is working. Any GPU should be able to connect to a single monitor. A DVI to VGA adapter should work. Has this TV's VGA port worked before? If it has, this is a list of issues to troubleshoot:
1. Card is DOA. It may be, even though the fans are spinning, that does not mean it is functional. In fact, I can make the fans spin on a card even when I know the card is disabled.
2. Power. Is your power supply capable of providing enough energy? Check your requirements against your PSU to see if you need to upgrade.
3. Bad ports. The ports on a graphics card can break, even if it shows no signs of damage. One perfect example is that I'm holding onto a 7970 that the HDMI port is broken, but...

Thanks for replying. And yes the Vga port on the monitor is working as it displays video from the pc without the graphics card in it. After i posted this, i tried using the same connection setup on a different monitor, and using a DVI to VGA adapter... but the problem is that i cant get a direction connectio between the monitor and graphics card. I found out that the input on the GPU is some vesa dms dvi
( http://gyazo.com/eb5b0a5c8844268f5f57f6a8f9aefff5 ) which literally no store has an adapter to vga for.. So, any other things?

Unfortunately no. Running a PC through a TV has its own set of problems. I Use a TV for my setup, but I knew how to tweak it to work. The problem is, most devices (TV's and GPU's) are moving towards HDMI since its a universal standard.

Pointing out the obvious doesnt help me?? I know using a tv has problems.. but im using vga just fine on it, so i dont see why i cant use it on the graphics card. Like i previously said to, i even tried the same adapter connection setup on an actual monitor and it didnt work.
