My monitor is an acer 22inch (1080p). I have it hooked up to my pc with a HDMI cable but on each side of my screen about 1cm is black, like the screen shrunk. This dousen't happen when I have it hooked up with a DVI cable (I think that's what type it is), but since my GPU only has one DVI imput( which I use for my second monitor, which dousen't have a HDMI imput) I have to use the HDMI for my main Monitor and I get the sides cut off. This still happens when I don't have the double monitor but still use the HDMI, so I doubt it has any thing to do with the second monitor. I was wondering if any of you knew how to fix this? Thank you for your time.

GPU AMD 7750
Monitor acer S242HL

TRy adjusting screen as indicated here. I use an old program called UltraMon allows different wallpaper each screen, and alot of other cool stuff. I'm trying to figure out how to use 3 screens? Once you have multi screens awhile you'll be hooked. I use DVI on both.
