Hi Folks,

Please help!

I have just installed a new graphics card (Asus GeForce 210 Nvidia) and now have no sound from my speakers connected to the audio output on the motherboard.

I have searched the internet for solutions but to no avail. My speakers are no longer detected in the Sound section of the Control Panel.

Hope you can help, thanks.

JNY

Have you tried removing both the GPU's and the Speakers drivers, then re-installing them?

PS: Make sure you can find the drivers before doing so.

Hi thanks for the reply,

I think installing the graphics card has removed all the speaker drivers (see pic). I'm not sure what I would get the speaker drivers again.. :??:

Hmmm, well, if it completely removed it, try to find out what kind of speakers they are I suppose, then head over to their site, (If they have one.) and try to grab up some drivers.

If not, driver pack solutions has saved my dad over and over, pretty good app in my opinion, just don't let it to anything major, just the small stuff.

It's Phillips speakers but they are just a standard jack plugged into the back of the audio output on my motherboard. I have updated the Audio driver from the manufacturers website (HP) but still no luck.

Should the Realtek HD Audio menu not have a speakers tab?? The analogue section recognises that the jack is plugged in.

Thanks

JNY

Your graphic card seems to have a sound output on its own. Try to disable it first...
