So, I am going to be getting a new computer soon and am wondering if the specs I am currently going for are good enough for the price.
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core ($118.49 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 ATX AM3+ ($177.69 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 ($154.98 @ OutletPC) [I am thinking of getting 4GB sticks instead because I have 4 slots on the motherboard and this could allow me to see how much RAM I need.]
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" SSD ($124.9 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM ($149.00 @ B&H)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB ($259.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master Storm Trooper (White) ATX Full Tower ($149.99 @ MicroCenter)
Power Supply: Corsair 600W ATX12V ($54.99 @ MicroCenter)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.98 @ OutletPC)
Monitor: Asus VS238H-P 23.0" ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Keyboard: Ducky DK9008 Shine 3 Green LED Backlit (Red Cherry MX) ($149.00 @ MechanicalKeyboards)
Mouse: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse Wired Laser ($58.78 @ Amazon) [Want a better mouse but can't find any with good MMO buttons. I would go with the Naga Epic but I hear it goes out after about a year.]
TOTAL: $1535.98
The whole build is pretty flexible, it's just something that I came up with that I thought would be awesome. I could end up scrapping the whole thing and getting a different build completely. I know a bit about computers but am not an expert, by any means.
What I would like to be able to do with my PC is stream League of Legends and other various games, run all my games on good graphic settings while also running at a really high, steady FPS, and I am probably going to get into graphic art and making my own videos for games. Is this build optimal for this or is there something better?
