Odd boot time problems

So a while ago I decided to go into the msconfig and disable some things on startup to make my PC boot up more quickly and sure enough it worked! But just recently it once again started taking about thirty seconds to boot up, even though I didn't enable any startup programs or anything of the sort. I literally only have 12 items checked in the startup menu. Here are the items that startup, which also perplexes me because some of them have two or three-

1. THXCfg64
2. Intel(R) Common User Interface(three times btw)
3. Nvtmru
4. Nvidia Geforce Experience(two times btw)
5. cFosSpeed Window
6. Steam
7. Delayed Launcher
8. avast!
9. Zonealarm

Should I disable some more startups? I have a WD Caviar Blue 1TB hard-drive and Windows 7 Professional 64-bit btw. Sorry if this a dumb question, I'm not the most knowledgeable with computers? Is thirty seconds good enough, is that the norm?

A better way to do what you are trying to do would be download "quick start up" from Gary's utilities (here) http://www.glarysoft.com/quick-startup/
much safer way to disable programs as it tells you what can and cannot be disabled and does it from windows. It stops the program from loading when the system is restarted. I would stop Steam to start with also are you using Avast and the antivirus version of zone alarm both ? if so running more than 1 antivirus at the same times can cause lots of problems.

Actually avast! is my antivirus and Zonealarm is my firewall, I don't even have the Zonalarm antivirus installed, I use it just for Firewall and protection against identity and data. Thanks, I'll make sure to have uncheck Steam.
