No Sound from rear jacks!!

Built my new PC with Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H Motherboard. Installed the motherboard CD, graphic card CD and Windows 7 updates. All went pretty well except not getting any sounds from the rear jacks? Wire has been double checked. Any ideas?

I've got the same issue with a Gigabyte 787-HD3. Installed the latest drivers from the Gigabyte website but that made no difference. The speakers and cables are OK as they work with another PC.

The Realtek HD Audio Manager shows the analog connections have been detected and if I click the test button I see the animation in the Windows Volume mixer as if there was sound playing but there's not a peep from the speakers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to say this is Windows 7 64 Bit newly installed.
