Here's my current specs:
CPU
Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM
4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
Intel Corporation DH61HO (CPU 1)
Graphics
1950W (1366x768@60Hz)
1024MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 (Undefined)
I don't know what PSU I'm using though. Any tips? I don't have much in the way of money so I'm thinking the max I'll go for would be maybe $120 as graphics card are pretty much overpriced in my country. Also, I was informed that the GPU should be compatible with the motherboard.
Here's what I hope a new GPU would do for me:
- Run emulators pretty fast(Dolphin and PCSX2). I just found out that Shadow of the Colossus is the benchmark for PS2 games, so something that'll make that game play well would be great.
- Run GTA V pretty well(I know it's not out).
- Can play those darn Ubisoft games, maybe Black Flags, pretty well.
- Something that'll be future proof for at least 2 years, I think?
If those sound like insane expectations please feel free to keep me in check. Thanks!
