I recently built my first PC using a Gigabyte G1 Sniper A88x motherboard with a AMD A10 7850k CPU. I had it displaying via hdmi to my TV for the first week but recently switched to my VGA monitor to be more comfortable. When I had it connected via HDMI the sound worked great however now that i switched to VGA I connected my speaker to my PC for sound. I am getting sound out of the speaker except ive noticed for some reason voices and other mid level sound from music, video, in game, ETC is very low compared to the rest of the audio. Ive tested my speaker and it works fine with audio from my phone so i know its a problem with my PC audio. Ive also plugged in headphones and audio works fine through them. Why are the mids coming out low though my speaker and not my headphones? What settings can i go into to fix this?
