So Im having an issue with windows 7 auto detecting my TV and re sizing my windows.
Might be best if i start from the beginning.
I have a 22 JVC TV that I use for both my pc and my ps3/xbox 360. I've been using it for over a year now with no hitches. Recently I purchased a Playsation 4, and proceeded to hook it up. The only problem I encountered was the lack of extra Hdmi ports on my TV. So i bought a HDMI switch from Radioshack today, and it works great. The only issue i have now is that every time i switch inputs on the HDMI switch, Windows detects it and downscales my Resolution on my pc, resulting in resized windows and games. So if im running a game on my pc and i switch, it causes issues. Is there a way to force windows to keep my current resolution? Im using a Ati Radeon HD 7750 i believe, been a while since i checked.

Not necessarily, just any time I switch the input on the switch, or change my tvs input to say... component 1, Windows gives me the "Hey we noticed something was unplugged" Chime then the "Oh wait nvm its back" Chime. I return to the input for my pc and it does the chimes again and when i finally see my desktop, my windows are all shrunk in the top left like the resolution was turned down and then back. Even my icons are arranged accordingly.
