ECC or Non-ECC

Solution

I agree with every other posts, your system does not support ECC memory only Non-ECC memory. Yes, either 333MHz or 400MHz 184pin memory will do. Supported memory sizes: 256MB, 512MB and 1GB. Sites where you can find the memory ex: memorystock.com, memoryx, Kingston, crucial etc.

Good luck with the upgrade.

By "high end" I mean servers and workstations that use server and workstation chipsets, rather than servers and workstations which are just consumer products repurposed for a server or workstation.

The c200 series chipsets, which is lga 1150 and 1155 and have low end dual core xeons. I won't even go into the bottom end atom based servers. These are not consumer chipsets nor are they consumer cpus. Even on the amd side it's the same.
