So I set up three monitors, but it turns our that my gpu only supports 2. Is there a way that I could plug two monitors into my graphics card, and have the third one (a smaller one) be plugged into my motherboard and have it work? Because that's how I have my cords set up right now, but when I try applying settings to activate my third one it says "This GPU supports up to 2 displays" even though the third display isn't even plugged into the gpu.

You should be able to attach a third monitor to the motherboard graphics adapter.
That is assuming you are using a modern os like windows 7/8 where multiple graphics drivers are ok.

Some motherboards will disable the integrated adapter when it senses a discrete card.
I think you should be able to go into the bios and have both adapters activated.
On some motherboards from pre built pc's, your bios may be restricted in function.

If all else fails, you can buy a second cheap discrete graphics card.

I went into the bios and changed the output display (I think thats what it was called) from auto to forced, and now it allows me to use my third monitor, thanks for the help.
