Okay so I am trying to build a new super fast gaming PC for streaming and recording/editing my game play as well. I am trying to upgrade my CPU/MOBO, RAM, HDD, +SSD, and case for max 800$. My video cards are current with twin 660ti Geforce FTW models and my powersupply is a 1000w silver plus brand.
My current rig has:
CPU: I7-950
Mobo: X58 tri sli
Ram: 8gb ddr3 1600 Gskill
HDD: Failing 1 TB black drive from WD
Case: Storm Scout
PSU: 1000w
GPU: 660ti FTW SLI
I need to replace the CPU and Motherboard. Upgrade the ram to at least 16gb and replace a failing HDD and add a SSD with a fulltower case. Are you up to the challenge?
