Well, I just hooked up a 180 GB Internal Hard Drive and It came from a old Hp m7760n Desktop PC. I hooked up all the necessary cords and turned on my PC, Then to format it i went to Disk management but when i got there the new hard drive wasn't being read by the system. I really need a fix if someone could help me.

Depending on what brand computer you have, you would press either f2, esc, or sometimes del to enter setup when you turn on the computer. Inside of there you should see an area which tells you what each SATA port has connected. If it sees it in there, we know it is a Windows issue. If it doesn't, then either the drive is dead or something is not configured correctly.
