I just upgraded from Windows XP 32bit to Win 7 64bit with a custom install - Everything works great, no problemo... EXCEPT, there's no sound. I have an ASUS P7P55 mobo, with a recently added EVGA Ge Force 760. So the ASUS says it uses a RealTek Hi-Definition audio, and I went to their website and installed a driver update - Still no sound. I kept XP on a backup HD and when I boot to it - Voila! Sound. I hate to use a pgm like DriverDetect or some other such 3rd party cr*p, - so I turn here
