Hi, I recently had to reopen my custom built computer to put a CD drive in and now my computer is experiencing problems. As of right now, it beeps twice on power and then continues to load up windows perfectly. I had to reset my BIOS settings for it to boot up properly but now it won't let me set my DRAM frequency to 1600. When I do set my DRAM frequency to 1600, it beeps twice on power and goes into an endless loop of restarting. I am quite confused as to what I did, but my computer never beeped before on startup, and I was able to set my DRAM frequency to 1600 without a hiccup. Any help would be appreciated.

Most PC's beep on startup, that's just a sound to indicate booting, that's normal. If BIOS won't let you set frequency to 1600Mhz, then don't, as sounds to me that your motherboard doesn't like that speed (which it should work on that speed weirdly), so I would clock it to 1866Mhz and see what that does. Reason why I say 1866, is that it has the same cas latency to 1600, so therefor making it better and slightly faster, as the higher the speed the faster thee ram and the lower the CL the faster the ram. 2133MHz has a CL of 10 so that puts it behind, so try 1866MHz.
