GPU blocked by case

I believe that my case is keeping my GPU from being removed. The screw is removed and the plastic tab lock is released. The situation is best described with a few pictures:

outside: http://imgur.com/733gSyp

The case blocks the gpu in such a way that the gpu can't be removed by pulling straight out. I can lift the side of the card furthest from the outputs, but only a little because I can't lift the side with the outputs.

Any advice on how to remove the card?

Solution
Dont bend the metal tabs.

If its anything like that case, there should be one screw at the back you should unscrew FIRST. You can see it on the 3rd picture (click on the case to see pics).
looks stuck to me, Are you able to gently push the tab out as seen in image 2 (outside)? then you could take it right out. But NEVER apply too much force that could cause damage.

Is the card actually released from the slot? Or is the clips connecting the card to the back of the case wedged tight?

Thanks for the reply. The card is not held in at all by the power/input connection. It is only held in by the case, which, in turn, is keeping the card in the slot. I've bent up the tab on the inside, and I am considering loosening/removing the back end of the case to replace the card.

ah, that silver screw? So the tabs are just a secondary retainer and that screw holds everything in place. I wondered why it was there, looks like a PCI card retaining screw, but there's no cards in that position.
