So i'm building a bitfenix prodigy system and i'd like to know if this power supply will power it.

I'm running a system featuring the MSI R9 290, Msi z87i Gaming and 16 gb of G.Skill Sniper memory.

Silverstone Strider Plus 600W ST60F-PS 80 Plus Silver.
Will this power supply power this system if i overclock it?

And also, how much should\can i over clock this system GPU, Cpu and all?

I'm using the NH-D14 on an i5. And the Graphics card will have good airflow.

I appreciate any help i can get.

Yes, it will be able to power your system with no problem.
I'm not an expert in overclocking so I can't really provide you with an average number, but I'm sure it's out there within the reach of google. I would just like to mention that it's also a luck of draw on how far you can push your processors, just don't push it too hard to reach other people's achievement if it isn't meant to be.

Modern PSUs are delivering more than 40Amps on +12v rail. It is better to check these variables before buying:

Total watts
Amps on +12v rail (Because CPU and GPU both pull power form +12v rail)
Efficiency (85% plus comes handy)
Which tier does the particular model falls (This will help you in understanding the components reliability for longer term)

Go for Corsair HX 650W. It is in tier 2 and it has 54Amps on +12v rail with efficiency of 85%+.

about the o/c, noctua is pretty capable and depending your cpu ability a 4.4ghz might be achieved for 24/7 use. as for the 290 the reference designed run pretty hot as high as 90-95c by default. depending your ventilation you may be able to push some extra mhz on the core and memory. you dont realy need to yet.:)

Yes, I've always recommended Noctua NH-14D/NH-U14S. Nice that you've one. You can very easily overclock cpu upto 4.6 GHz. How much you can do that depends upon not only cooler but case air flow as well. Go for as high as possible while keeping a tab on temps reading (Use HWMonitor for that) and ensure that temps are controlled and system is stable. :)

R9 290 runs pretty hot so make sure you have good air flow inside the case.
