Which One i5 760 or i3 3220.??

Hello Im very confused between i5 760 2.8Ghz and i3 3220 3.33Ghz please suggest me which is better then other... I found some specs. As i5 has 4 cores and i3 has 2 core, i5 has 8mb cache and i3 has 3 mb cache... and someone says me that we can overclock the i5 upto 3.6 Ghz is this is true? If it is then tell me can I overclock it in the stock cooler or not.? and what is "cache" in the processors and what is cores..??

Man I have i5 4670K... And I dont want to buy this.. All I want to know is the difference between i5 760 and i3 3220.. you know?? which one is best in the gaming.. ??

Im totally confused right now.. i3 get 7.5 but i5 get 7.2.. why man,.... i5 has 4 cores but i3 has 2 and i5 has 8mb cache and i3 has 3mb.. i want you to recommend me.. which one is better,, tell me..

so i5 is better than the i3 and can you tell me what is the cache memory and cores ..???

A core is the module that does the processing, so more cores is better (of the same architecture), but it also matters how powerful the cores are. i.e the i3 will have more powerful cores, as its using a newer architecture.

Cache is the very fast memory on the processor. data is copied here from the RAM so the Cores have fast access to it. More is generally better.
