Flickering/Random black screen with mouse cursor?

Just built my first gaming pc a few days ago and it runs fine except for one problem. The screen sometimes flickers between off and a black screen with the cursor (moveable but essentially useless) and also the log in screen flashes between these flickers as well.

This forces me to do a reset. I see the mobo splash page and I can get into BIOS just fine but after the Windows 8 logo, when the log in screen is supposed to appear, I get that black screen again. It just happened while watching a video as well and though the screen was black, the audio of the video kept playing.

My board runs 1333mhz regularly and I had to overclock the ram to run at 1600 mhz. Don't know if that might be the culprit. Also, my chassis fan connector lies directly under my gpu to the point where the gpu and the fan plug are certainly making contact. Idk if that might be an issue, maybe the gpu is not fully seated.

I already tried to uninstall gpu drivers and reinstall and nothing. I do however need to try to reinstall my other component drivers.

Here is my build
