if your mother board supports cfx then yes and you dont need a cable because they cfx through the motherboard lanes

ahh didnt even see that leeb2013 is absolutely correct. each graphic card renders seperate images on each cards own vram so 2 2gb cfx cards is still a total of 2 gb you just get better performance
