Hey guys can you give me some advice for my gaming build

Budget Range: $1100 (slighty flexible)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (mainly Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 and RTS games with some FPS), Light Video/Audio Editing/Rendering, web browsing

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: PCCaseGear, CPL Online, Mwave Australia

Location: Australia, Tasmania

Parts preference: none really

Overclocking: Not at the moment possibly in the future

SLI or Crossfire: Not needed

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: - don't need OS or keyboard mouse and moniter

My build so far:

There i managed to change some parts and get 1116
-XFX 550w will handle both FX8320 and R9 280X.
-Gigabyte's R9 280X runs better than the MSI's version and it is $10 cheaper.
-Still you have another problem. Cooler Master K380 will not support Hyper 212Evo, it is 159mm while the case supports 155mm coolers. Better get HyperTX3Evo or HyperT4. Hyper 212Evo is better than the other coolers i suggested you, but they can handle light overclock, something like 4.2 or 4.3 GHz

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($194.00 @ CPL Online)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler...

Hi,
Sorry to disappoint you, Asrock 970 Extreme 3 doesn't support FX8320 and FX8350. Better get the Asus M5A97 Evo R.2.0 or Asus M5A99X Evo R.2.0. I know it is more than your budget, but you will need those motherboards.
