Everything was working fine I added a new 1tb drive to my new build 1 day old and now I get no display just blank screen. I have disconnected everything apart from the 24 + 8 pin connectors, processor and a stick of ram but still fails to display anything. I have tried the onboard hdmi and vga still same issue. I have removed and reseated everything including battery and reset cmos.

Mobo led is solid green when I push power button all fans start spinning then pc restarts itself everything then stays on but still no display.

Why would it restart instantly too is this some sort of self test?

Hope it's something simple Im gutted

Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks for the replies I have just tested psu in another computer works fine I have also tested my brothers 750 watt psu in my machine and still same problem. Ram is fine machine bored perfect until I added the new drive. I can't get to bios davcon the machine powers up but I get no display just blank screen. It's like adding the new drive had somehow broken my motherboard. But I had the new drive in a docking station hooked up to the Computer was fine then soon asi installed it into my case the computer stopped working

Yes tried that too :(

It's got to be the mobo I think although I've no idea why this would happened just adding a new drive. The monitor detects when I switch between dvi and VGA so it's getting some sort of signal but the screen is just black.
