Hey Everyone!

It's been a good 3/4 years since I last updated my build. I have around £600-800 pound to play with and am looking for the best areas for me to upgrade. I was thinking of possibly getting a new motherboard, but was unsure if it's worth while as the Z68 still seems pretty good.

I am reluctantly after a new computer case, so I can eventually get together a megabuild in time, was looking at the new corsair graphite 760t but it isnt out yet, but also liked the look of the 750D as it seems to have a large amount of room to upgrade etc.

Would love to hear some opinions on what you guys think I should upgrade, I'm quite a heavy gamer and hopefully going to give this current rig to the girlfriend to try get her into some games.

Many thanks in advance,

Aaron

i would honestly just upgrade the graphics card, everything else looks like it still handle a monster, and i would probably go with this

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-03gp42...

if you really want to upgrade your cpu you can still get a 3570k and still be golden but i dont think its necessary
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80637i5357...

those are the only 2 upgrades you really need and i would be reluctant on the processor upgrade because its still very viable
and dont get a whole new mob to get haswell because it only had a slight performance increase between 3570k to 4670k.

Thanks for that, only reason I was looking to upgrade a few components was so I could pass the current system on to the girlfriend. I think that's what I might do though, get a new graphics card, but still so undecided on what case I should go for.

Obsidian Series 750D Full Tower Case

or wait for the Graphite Series 760T and 730T Full Tower Cases

My Antec 900 is still pretty solid, but due to the PSU I bought (non modular) everything is quite crammed in.

ok i just looked that 760t that thing is bada$$ i was going to recommend a phantom 620 windowed but that 760t is pretty freaking nice.
i have always found cases are a very personal thing even if i do tell you something good or bad about it you will still justify reasons in your mind as to why you want the one you want.so my opinion totally wait for the 760t because a graphics card is the easiest upgrade you can physically do anyway. its not like you are going to be taking everything out twice.

Yeah, thanks very for for your help :) , seems like my best options. I do like the Phantom 620, but just feel like if I'm purchasing something new I want it to be released recently wheras a lot of the cases I like seem to be quite old. My Antec 900 is probably fine, but... it's kinda boring me now, had it for over 5 years I think. Just need the Corsair 760 to hurry up and get released!

Thanks again for your help dude.
