I have a Nexus 7 2013 LTE TAB which has a micro USB port . I want to connect a USB flash drive . There are some dual type flash drives available in the market. I purchased one such type ( i ball 16 GB Hybrid dual pen drive with Micro-B & Standard USB interface pendrive). But that is not matching with my Nexus 7. Hence I want to know whether USB 3.0 & micro USB ports are same?

Micro-B is a plug type. See the picture below:
Its the one on the bottom right.
USB 3.0 is a set of standards that dictates speed and power levels. It doesn't have a single standard connector type, it works with a range of connector types.
I had a quick look at the USB flash drive you indicated and it looks like it should be OK. Does it not fit, or is it that the tablet can't access it?
