Gigabyte HD 7950 -What's it Worth?

I have 2 Gigabyte HD 7950's (GV-R795WF3-3GD rev 2.0) that I have been using for almost a year. They are the voltage locked 6 and 8 pin variety. I have been using them in my mail system for gaming and have been experimenting with LTC mining to see what I can do. I only run them a few hours at a time and they are in mint condition. I love them but I want to add a loop and nobody - I mean nobody makes a full water block for this GPU.

I was thinking of selling them and getting an r9 290X that I can add to my loop,

Any thoughts on how much I should ask for my 7950's?

Check for 7970 water blocks, should be an identical PCB. Value-wise I'd say $300 or $250 per card.

For both of then you should be able to get 600-700 for them. I sold my old 7950 windforce card for $350 a while back

It looks like they generally go for around $250 used.

You could use an Arctic Cooling Accelero: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186067

It's not a full open CPU - GPU loop but it will get the job done.

Thanks for the info but I want to add one loop not two or three. I have an AIO cooler now - An Antec H20 920 since Aug 2011- an while it does a great job I want a solution for my whole system - CPU GPU and RAM.

I love my 7950's but if they don't make a full block for them - they are done. I was hoping someone out there would have first hand experience adding a WB to this card with success - even it it means modding the block a little.

The gigabyte 7950 rev 2.0 does not use a reference 7970 pcb so regular 7970 blocks will not fit.

A universal WB doesn't appeal to me either because I'd have to do something creative with the VRM's and mosfets because passive cooling wouldn't be enough and the idea of arranging extra fans in my case just to blow on the heatsinks sucks.

Anyone mod a full WB to fit these cards?
