vengeance compatibility haswell

I have been reading that corsair vengeance pro is optimized for haswell CPU. All the specs between the 1866mhz versions are on par with each other. Does anyone have experience using these sticks on a haswell build. And also would I gain anything from using vengeance pro over the standard?

If I'm wrong, it seems like a marketing scheme to buy pro. Or is it more stable using pro. The price is similar but I could save a couple dollars on the regular..

Also I am using asus z87 gryphon mono

It is marketing, these came out alongside the gen 3 IB CPUs and are now marketed as for gen 3 (IB) and 4 (Haswell) CPUS....Very similar to the Vengeance and the Dominator Platinum, they are good sticks and do have a bit of OC headroom
