updated to windows7 and now my pc says i have no audio drivers installed

i have just upgraded to windows 7 and now my pc has no sound it says i have no audio device installed im pretty new to computers so i havent t a clue how to get it back can anyone help please

im not very good at computers so bear with me ,i went to control pannel then went to program and feathers and all that's there is uninstall a program, turn window feathers on or off view installed updates, run programs for previous windows,or how to install a program. i dont know how to get to re-install the driver

What that person posted is a little incorrect. Are you using a laptop or a desktop? What make and model?

Whatever is the case you need to go to the manufacturer's website and find the drivers there; the drivers are not going to be found in the Add/Remove programs section.

thank you for your help , i have a PC. HP Compaq but how do i find the model, sorry about this but its all new to me i don't think me and computers are going to get on
