Hey all, I've recently had the itch to play battlefield 4, and scratch it for as cheaply possible. My old laptop can't play it at better than 640x480 (had to open a file for the game to even allow that) at 20fps.
I found this listing in my area:

The guy is willing to sell it to me for two hundo. I figure that plus some decent graphics card, under 200, should get BF4 running pretty well right? Should I be worried about future expandability with the proc/PSU?

Should I just go back the way of the slow gaming and buy a ps4? (which requires PSN for online gaming which will add up over the years).

I want to maximize graphics/dollar ratio.

If you buy that PC and stick a Radeon 7770 or something in there it will be a decent entry level gaming computer. Just make sure you reinstall windows when you get it.

Personally I'd prefer to save up ~600 and build something new myself.

You should be more worried about what has been possibly done to the PC, save up some dough, and build your own, very fun learning experience and you get exactly what you want, not some other person couple year old or year old build that was improperly OC'd and acts funky now.

Best regard, Vel.
