so,,these are my specs
asus p8b75
i3-3210
gskill ripjaws 4gb ddr3
seasonic 520w psu
acer X193HQ monitor(VGA)
creative speakers 2.1
sapphire hd 7770 ghz edition

PLEASE READ IT GUYS

i upgraded from my old system to this one about a year ago except the speakers and the monitor,,i bought the PSU and a GTX 650 in may,,but the graphics card showed high level of screen interference,so i had to return it,,i had also created some forums about it (http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1810737/graphics-card-display-problem-graphics-card-suggestion.html,,,http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1812359/monitor-pci-slot-graphics-card-problem.html).

Anyways,,i bought a sapphire hd 7770 1gb ghz edition this februaury (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11201-17-20G-CrossFireX-Multi-GPU-Technology/dp/B009YTT5RW/ref=pd_sim_sbs_computers_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1ZFPVNBA25JZXWPJVQYX),,,,its been working fine except it also shows some interference,,more like the flickering type which we see on a TV,except this is much more subtle,,,the temperatures are normal too,,,so i thought it might be something interfering with my monitor and decided to ignore it,,,,,except while playing assassin's creed 4 just 30 minutes ago,,i ALT-TAB'd out of the game to run GPUZ to monitor the temperatures, when i double-clicked GPUZ,,the system froze and monitor displayed "out of signal",but the system didnt shut down,,so i turned the monitor off and switched it on again but still "no signal",,,,so i shut down the system, waited for a few seconds and booted it again,,it booted up fine,,i played AC4 again,,and it also played fine,,i dont know what happened,,,i have a pretty low-end case (http://www.zebronics.com/products/cabinet-budget/dashing) but the temps were fine,,,the CPU was within 57 degrees and the GPU within 75 degrees,,,is my graphics card faulty?? or is my monitor??
this only happens when i am playing games.HELP ME OUT PLEASE

you note "interference," but you don't say exactly how. If it is interference, if you switch to DVI it may go away. Digital (DVI) signals are much more resistant to interference than analog (VGA) signals. Also, LCD monitors and video cards are natively digital, so going through a VGA pushes the signal through a digital to analog converter and an analog to digital converter. Going through a digital signal will eliminate these two components and possibly eliminate your problem. First thing to try would be to get a DVI cable and hook up your monitor that way.

both your card and monitor support DVI-I connection.

you just need to get a DVI-I cable and that might solve the "interference".
this is how a DVI-I port looks:

as for why your display "lost signal" well it seems to me the card just failed (since the PC stayed on). but do not worry about it if it happened once.

this, if this interference still occurs i honestly think that you should rma the card

how do you mean that the card failed? is it faulty??
it says on the link of the monitor that it supports DVI (HDCP),,,is it the same as DVI-I?? i cant see that port anywhere onmy monitor

I cannot find precise details on your monitor, not even on the Acer site. discontinued maybe?
anyhow you might have a DVI-D port then?
DVI_D.jpg

there are converters between the two (DVI-I & DVI-D).

regarding the card itself... i do not believe it is faulty, did that happen before? try to run a benchmarking software on full load and see if it stays stable (i believe it should)... coz i do not want to think it is a PSU issue since your PSU is a good quality.

no,,my monitor has only vga port,,not even DVI-D and no,it has never happened before with that card,,,here is a guy with a similar issue http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/running-gpu-z-turns-off-my-screens-immediateyl.163714/

since you had this "interference" with the older card too, then i do not think the issue is with the card itself. it is either the cable or the monitor (highly unlikely). so try to find a cable in a close HW store and see if the problem persists.

regarding the card shutting down on GPU-z startup, i would let it slide this time, but if it happened again then you might have a problem with the card, the PSU or the PCI power cable.
