does anyone recomend any good CPUs for 85-90 dollars and fit in the MSI A78M-E35 Motherboard because i heard that using the AMD Athlon X4 760K CPU will slow down the Nvidia gtx 760 so if anyone knows any that would be great and please make sure there around the same power as the AMD Athlon x4 760k but not that same CPU that would be great!

More about : good cpus price

Why would you want to "upgrade" of about the same power?

You're not likely to get anything better for that price.

For an FM2+ socket, the 760K is probably the best non-APU processor you can have... I don't think there's anything out there that would be a worthwhile upgrade for $80. If you'd had an AM3+ motherboard, I'd recommend getting $20 more and buying an FX-6400, but you'd need a whole new motherboard for that to happen.

My recommendation would be to save your money. The X4-760K is an excellent processor and shouldn't cause any problems until you have enough money to get off of the FM2 platform... a decent AM3+ motherboard can be had at under $60 these days, and it would be worth the extra investment IMO.

Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

I agree with you the AMD Athlon X4 760K is a great budget CPU for gaming and for standard things like web browsing!

If You Would Have A AM3+ Socket
Then You Can Buy FX 4300 Or AMD Phenom II X2 560 Processors But With That Mother Board X4 Is The Best Choice And Whats That 760 :o  :o

FX 4300. Best budget Cpu IMO. Low price and still 4 core 3.5 GHz. Not as good as the fancy I7's, but it is a great budget CPU

This processor will not bottleneck anything for you. The 760k is also probably the best under $100 processor. Also, what is your current computer hardware? If you are using the Athlon then you should probably just buy a new graphics card if yours is outdated.

He said he has a GTX 760, so if anything, the CPU will be the bottleneck.

Ok, then it really depends on what games he's playing. If he is playing something incredibly CPU intensive such as DayZ or a massive Civilization game, then it will struggle a bit. If he is willing to spend a few dollars then he should upgrade to an AM3+ platform and get an FX-6300

That is an FM2 board. The only processors that will work with that board are AMD APU's or AMD Athlon's. So that narrows things down. Now you only want to spend $85 to $90. That narrows things down more. The best processor for that money that is compatible with your board is a AMD 760K. You get what you pay for. For $85 you aren't going to get an I5 or I7. Or an 8350 even. That being said.... The 760K is a great budget cpu.

Eventhough the difference is $5 less the 750k is only .4ghz less clock speed and can oc by .34ghz up to 4.73 ghz if it is water cooled

The FX-4130 is just within your budget subtotal wise but if your able to slap on an extra $25 get an FX-6300 to help with performance. you will have to change your mobo from an FM2(+) to an AM3+ to have the cpu work

So if he gets a 6300 it is not an extra $25. Its $125 extra. $25 cpu, $100 AM3+ board.

yeah my bad on that it was a quick write i had to finish up something
(a decent am3+ board can go for around $45)

4130? Don't you mean a 4300? Also he has a FM2 board. The difference between a 4300 and a 760K is negligable. The L3 does very little. So it would be a total waste of money to buy and AM3+ board to pair it with a 4300. A 6300 maybe.....

Considering how close the 4300 and 6300 are in price, I agree that a 4300 makes no sense. Clock for clock Phenom II is faster than an FX 4300. The FX just has the advantage of high clock speeds. A 3.8ghz FX 4300 cannot even hold off a Phenom II 980 that runs at 3.7ghz. Faildozer arch and its improvements afterwards are still not better than a Phenom II. If phenom II could be shrunk and designed to handle the high clock speeds, and higher core counts, that FX does, Phenom II would be far better. AMD went in the wrong direction with the Faildozer arch.
