Possible heat damage to GPU?

Hi,
I use an Asus G750 laptop, and I was playing Hawken the other day. After about 10 minutes of playing the game froze and I had to Ctrl+Alt+Del to escape the program. I didn't think much about it maybe it was just a random problem. I relaunched the game and played for about 5 more minutes and the same thing happened. When I got out of the game I noticed that my screen now had a faint tiny checkerboard pattern on the whole screen, like the quality was lowered slightly and now looks grainy. I use a cooling pad but when I used FurMark to stress test my GPU it ran up to 75C at it's peak. It's not a huge deal but if it is GPU damage I plan on sending it to Asus to get it fixed, unless there's something I can do to fix it at home.

If it's persistent outside of Windows, something is damaged. Sorry man.

Time to give ASUS a ring I think. It would seem to me that something has failed or failing.

Is it persistent even when you are in the BIOS for instance?

No problem. Hate to be the bearer of bad new though. At least it's on warranty so ASUS should fix it. Just sucks being without your laptop until it's fixed. Be sure to backup any personal files before shipping it off, they don't guarantee your data.
