I started to build a computer and everything looked fine,I had all the correct cable in the right sockets. Then i finally decided to do a test boot but it didn't beep. I replaced both the motherboard and the PSU but the same problem is there, the fans are all spinning but still no beep. What might be the problem with my build?

If you could list the components you have in your computer, that would be awesome.

- Did you use the brass standoffs behind the motherboard?
- Is the CPU damaged? Check for bent pins
- Is everything plugged in? A common mistake is forgetting to plug in the CPU power.
- Are there any bent pins on the power supply plugs?
- Is your RAM seated correctly?
- Is your RAM in the right spot? (Some motherboards have a specific slot to put them in)

ok so i removed the CMOS battery for about five minutes then returned but still no beep and i saw somewhere that i should remove it for 32 hours is this true?

both are raidmax and both have problems? sounds like a winner there...I would recommend a quality brand PSU like Seasonic Antec XFX Silverstone or Corsair for a PSU..even if its not the cause that psu should be replaced before it fails in a year or two, likely taking other parts with it. If it isn't the PSU I suspect the motherboard
