Hey first time posting here, wanted to get your input on my first rig. Since i got like 80% of my research here I would really appreciate anyone's input.
My build so far:
-i7 4770k Haswell
-Asus Maximus Formula VI
-EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Dual Classified w/ EVGA Hydro Copper Cooler
-Ram prob Corsair Vengeance x2 8
-Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
-Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
(May change for another)
-Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS
(Later will add Blue Ray Burner)
-Corsair hx1000w modular power supply
Water Cooling
-XSPC Raystorm CPU Waterblock - Intel
-XSPC RX240 Dual-Fan Radiator V3 - Black
-FrozenQ Liquid Fusion V Series 250 mm Reservoir w/ Side Ports
-Swiftech MCP655™ Series 12 VDC Water Pumps - With Speed Control
- x4 Noctua NF-S12B FLX
(Push-Pull config bottom)
1) Is this a good setup? Am I missing something? Learning everything can be overwhelming especially first rig...
And
2) Tubing most likely 1/2 ID clear tubes...But the fittings I'm stuck with 2 choices:
**Bitspower Premium G1/4" Black Matte High Flow Compression Fitting
***Monsoon Chain Gun Compression Fittings, 1/2" x 3/4" 4-Pack
(Maybe Red to go with the mobo)
I can't find anything for the Monsoon fittings videos or rigs with it and really like the style, but I wanna know the reliability too. And of course bitspower look good and have great reviews.
3) Does it matter if i mix fittings? To showcase monsoon's on certain places and bitspower in others
