Hello guys!

First of all my specs:
Asus P5W64 WS PRO motherboard (AMI bios)
Intel Core 2 Quad q6600 G0 @ 3.0 GHz O.C. - 9x333 (stock 2,4GHz) Core V = 1,313V
Deepcool GAMMAX S40 cpu cooler (no problems with temps)
2x 2gb Kingston DDR2 Ram
Msi Nvidia GTX 660
HEC 550 W 80+Bronze PSU
OS WIN 8.1 64 bit

So I have overclocked my cpu to 3.0 GHz with no problems. But I want to clock to 3.2 or 3.4 GHz. Everytime I overclock it past 3.0 GHz my pc starts to freeze, lag and show blue screen. All settings are set to auto (coreV, ramfreq etc.). Maybe its just mobo problem im not sure. Please help!

600 Mghz is a nice overclock. I had one up until a week ago (Got a Q9550) I couldn't get it back 2.6 no matter what I did. Not all CPU's are the same. Just because someone can get a 1Ghz over clock doesn't mean you can.

A few things to help though is to up the stock Voltage for the North Bridge, the HT ( Core VTT Voltage) and the last thing is the south bridge voltage.

For me to get a stable 3.4 I had to up the voltages pretty good. Then i went for 3.6. no matter what I did couldn't get it stable. Would always just restart out of no where. Then i bumped mine down to 3.5 and ran Prime95 for 6 hours no issues.
