Hey guys, im building a new pc. Here are the parts im planning to use:
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/elethanspam/saved/3VA7
I have a few questions
Are my parts compatible
Is my psu wattage sufficient for the build
Should i replace any parts
Also budget is flexible
EDIT(more info):
Approximate Purchase Date: this week

Budget Range: 1200-1400 after shipping costs and rebate
System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: no

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Houston, Texas

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (e.g.: I would like to upgrade to Intel CPU)

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Your psu is overkill for the build unless you plan to SLI later. 500W is sufficient

If you plan to overclock you should get the i5-4570K. The K means you can overclock it. If not you can get a cheaper motherboard.

I would add an SSD around 120GB. It won't increase any numbers but the speed of booting will make you happy.

Everything looks good, except the USB Network adapter. I would suggest a PCIe adapter like the TP-LINK TL-WN881ND or maybe the N600. and for $15 more you can have a Blu-ray/DVDRW drive

hold on they have a gold 550w unit and I accidentally deleted build. Just don't get oc mobo without oc processor, for that price you want at least a 770 and an ssd.

Without the ssd in this build and 1400 usd you could get gtx 780 if you wanted.

ingston Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum. Whats this?
