Ok so here's my problem; I have 16GB of RAM which is far more than I normally use and I have only 1GB of graphics memory on my Radeon HD 6670. I want to be able to share around 4GB of RAM with the graphics card.

I know this is possible but I simply cannot find the option in my BIOS I have a Gigabyte 970A-DS3 with the v6.00PG BIOS.

If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Thanks,
Dan

AFAIK, you can only share system RAM with integrated graphics, not a discreet GPU.

^Agreed. If you had a CPU with an onboard GPU, or a video chipset on the motherboard, then you'd be able to redirect system memory towards your video memory, but I've never seen any way to do this with a discrete graphics card.

You really don't need more memory on a 6670, to be honest; you're being bottlenecked a lot more by the GPU tself than the amount of memory it has, and there's no way a 6670 would be effective at a resolution capable of actually using 4GB of VRAM.
