Hi guys =]

So im about to upgrade my pc and i thought i would buy a new gpu but, i have a hard time choosing a card. Im not an expert in graphicscards so i need your guys help. Im thinking about buying either a 760 or the 270x. Keep in mind im from EU so the price on the 270x is about 30 bucks below the 760.

My system:
CPU: i5-2320 @ 3.00GHz
Motherboard: Acer Predator G3610
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Memory/ram: 8.0 GB

760 twin frozr

Hi Fox,

The GTX 760 has a higher memory clock speed by 102Mhz and 16 more texture mapping units. It also is rated better on GPU Boss.
The only reason you would go the r9 270x 4gb is if you want multiple monitors or TV's.

Hope this helps.

If you're going to be gaming, I would take the GTX 760. It's a faster card, and the only reason you should get an AMD card is for Bitcoin mining.

I know the solution has allready been picked and that you've allready bought your card, but I just wanted to comment on how awful alot of these comments here were... The 760 and the 270X will offer pretty much the exact same performance, so what you should look at with these cards is what games do you like to play... In some games the 760 beats the 270X in others the 270X beats the 760 and in the rest they're pretty much the same.
Also you should look at what features you get with each card... The 760 allows you to use shadowplay to record gameplay and the 270X supports mantle.
When taking these things into consideration you can decide if the price gap is worth it (if there is a gap) and I know I sound really shallow, but which card will look best in your case! (I know the Toxic looks amazing!)

Be careful with that twin frozr, they tend to leak oil, and the fans may randomly stop working and cause overheating issues. It happened to me with a R9 290 and there are things all over the web about it. I replaced the GPU with an Asus Directcu II one and haven't had a problem with that so far. Good luck with your 760 twin frozr,

I have the Power Color 270x DEVIL"the fastest stock 270x"@1250/5800 OC'ed it does really well for the price but anymore I'd rather have the EVGA GTX760 FTW ACX. It does cost a little more but overclocks better, runs cooler, and with the new nvidia 337.50 beta driver would have no problem beating out my 270x. But at this point the 270x will get me by till the new 800 series nvidia cards come out later this year.

I so agree with Krister arvesen. The comments our all so horrible and I would never buy the gtx 760 for my life - I would get $20 more for 770 or spend $150 less on 750 ti - best bang per $$$

Get 750 ti cause it's little slower and $150 different than 760
I would sell the gtx 760 and pay $180 and get the gigabyte ghz edition gtx 750 ti
It's so quiet and with the sliders maxed out the card runs at about 38 degrees c
On bf4 ultra it gets a decent 25 - 60 fps and gamers who own better cards played on it and they said they didn't notice any frame drop. At the nvidia recommended settings - 3 at medium - rest ultra it's average - 70 fps - min 55 fps - max 110 fps

My bro is buying that card for his build.
Buy it it's so impressive with its low power consumption - quit at load and bf4 ultra. It's the best bang for buck card out there
