I have an external iomega drive that houses a Seagate Barracuda 500 GB drive. The power supply to the drive is faulty at the switch and will not power on. I can easily remove the actual drive from the iomega housing and see the SATA power and data pins. Ideally, I would like to have an AC(or USB)-to-12V-SATA power supply and a SATA data-to-USB adapter to recover my stored backups/files/etc. Any suggestions? Running Windows 8 on a Toshiba Satellite.
