Yes, I'm aware that Battlefield 4 is one of the hardest games to max out, but I'm willing to upgrade.

Here is my current rig:

Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1GHz

EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

8 GB DDR3 Ram

1 TB Hard Drive

450 Watt Power Supply

1680 x 1050 Monitor

R9 280X = 30A @ 12V rail, 550W minimum psu
GTX 770 = 42A @ 12V rail, 600W minimum psu,
R9 270X = 24A @ 12V rail, 500W minimum psu
GTX 760 = 30A @ 12V rail, 500W minimum psu,

The 3.1GHz of the 3350P is going to 'bottleneck' you some at the highest settings of BF4, which incidentally, is about the hardest game to 'max' out, but not all that hard to improve to get decent playable fps, and still retain a high enough level of detail that it doesn't look like Minecraft with machine guns.

While the 750Ti is a great card with no added psu needed, I believe the EVGA 660 you have now is the better card.

So, while the cpu may limit you slightly, it won't be enough to really take away from the game enough to matter much.
The gpu however will...

The gpu however will, and that is totally limited by your psu.

GTX760 @$250, GTX770 @$350, R9 270X @$275, R9 280X @$450-500
Good psu's will run @$70-$120 on average.

Either way you want to go, and I started with the top graphics, upgrading to 'max' out BF4 will not be cheap, but upgrading to 'hey I can live with that' would be a much better option.

My suggestion would be R9 270X, with a good psu, like XFX 550W Pro Core Edition, which is relatively inexpensive for its capability.
